I would like to take my parents on a tour of a tech company in the Silicon Valley area. Are there any tech companies or factories that give interesting tours? I don’t have kids, so I am not looking for a kid-type tour. I have heard that Genentech does tours. Is that true? I couldn’t find information on their website. Any good tour recommendations would be much appreciated!

I will graduate by december with a bachelors degree in computer science;
My programming skills are really good and I can present myself and prove my capabilities in person if i get an interview.
I already have posted my resume on their career pages but haven’t get a singe response. I can imagine they recieve hundreds of resumes weekly so the chances of getting an interview by sending your resume should be low.
What should I do to get an interview in person ?
